Public outreach--macroeconomic policy

1988 to 2020

I have had numerous interviews regarding current policy issues (debt, deficits, sequesters, stimulus, etc.) on radio, TV and in print. This has included appearances on local TV and radio as well as newspapers, and also nationally syndicated appearances on TV, radio and in print.

All citizens need to understand the ongoing debate on economic policy and its relation to the economic downturn that began in 2008.

I have tried to explain the need for economic stimulus in the short term, within a context of longer-term balance. The completely counterproductive short-run expenditure cutting currently being done in Washington D.C. needs reasoned, fact-based critique from all who are qualified to give it.

Millions have heard my opinions if I believe the circulation statistics of newspapers and viewer statistics of channels such as Fox and CNN.
